F*** you seagate

daiv

Just got a new SSD. I backed up everything to my external seagate hdd using seagate backup tool so that i could unplug my old ssd and  plug in my new one, and be able to easily transfer the files i needed over. Turns out seagates stupid backup tool doesnt backup everything. It just backs up documents and videos and such, completely leaving out program files, windows sticky notes, appdata, etc. Its really annoying because now I either have to unplug my new ssd then manually transfer it over, or I have to buy the usb to sata cable

Would have been just as easy drag and dropping program folders ect instead.

You should have used seagate disc wizard and not some included with an external hard drive backup tool as its their own branded version of Acronis true image and would be required for creating an image of one drive to transfer to another.
