Planning a budget gaming pc build

Hello

I want to build or buy a gaming pc. I don't have any experience with building a pc. I don't know if it is a good idea and if it is even possible but i thought that a AMD Ryzen 5-1600 as the CPU and a NVIDIA GeForce as the GPU were a good chose if a good bang for your bug is important. I think that 8 GB of RAM will be enough. And a SSD with 128 GB plus a HDD that is a bit bigger for storage. I don't know what typ of RAM and SSD/HDD to use. And i can't really find a good explanation about motherboards. I already have a monitor.
I also don't know if i would be better of buying a prebuild or not. My budget is max a bit over 1000 euro (1.117,60 dollar). (I live in Belgium)

Sorry to be this ill informed.

Thanks in advance.

This is an alright build, but right now with ryzen, an amd cpu and gpu will pair better together.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mqkgyf  lol a bit overkill here on the psu but this looks better

Try using the PSU Tier List!

Budget PC for 1000 euros?  D:

You'll have enough to buy a high-end one, with good specifications.

Thanks I will compare them all! I really like you guys!

Downgraded GPU (This EVGA's has highest clockspeed) allowed you to have SSD for boot drive and higher frequency on memory. Keep that in mind :)

Still, the 1060 is more expensive than the 580, and it will pair worse with a ryzen cpu, so i'd suggest a 580 over a 1060 anyday.

Keep in mind most of games (he will be doing gaming) are optimized for NVIDIA's gpus so it is better to have 1060 and he said he wants GeForce GPU

I find online that a 1060 is a lot stronger than the 580, is it that much worse if you pair them?

At this point in the pc/gaming world, i would either suggest going all intel or all ryzen and it's mostly preference here, because both will suffice for the kind of gaming you would like.

GeForce is optimized for most of games and you have bigger potential if you plan to record for youtube cause editing software can use CUDA cores

It was controversial whether the 1060 6gb or 480 8gb was better a few months ago, but now the 580 is obviously the winner here.
