I bought this new in 2005. It's getting a bit long in the tooth, but it's been paid off forever, and with a 5-speed manual it'll probably last another few decades. No real complaints, outside of doing one brake job it's been routine fluids and filters. I'd hazard a guess that no one makes a car this reliable anymore. Ok, only small complaint is that in 2021 no car in Texas with our 75mph+ interstates and highways has any business only having 105hp; Outside of first gear it's pretty pokey.
 
 
2015 that I bought in early 2016, my usual daily now. Just a little 500cc-class bike, but it sips fuel and has been pretty solid mechanically. Covid has really put a damper on destination riding, but some day I'll go stretch the fuel range again out to a campsite or somewhere notable.

Do you think the same for regular athletes too? He's probably already made a few millions off of salaries and prize winnings alone and he was on FaZe, so he already has a decent enough job set up for him as a content creator (Having FaZe in your name is probably enough to get you a few hundred viewers on twitch).

Agreed. This is a shitty PR stunt. Yes, the idea is cool, but there are already so many easy alternatives to it if that's something you actually want to do.

Does Samsung want me to be happy that they crippled my 65 inch TV with a software update so it’s apps, WiFi, or internet connectivity don’t work anymore?
 
Sustainability starts when they stop crippling products to make people buy new ones.

I think it's pretty clear in the statement that they had no special arrangement, and were simply asking people to take advantage of existing return policies.
 
But I'm a rare breed, I read things carefully.

I found my DT770s to get much better after a fair few hours of listening. Brand new they were disappointing (I imported them so I was stuck with them) but now they sound awesome, and it’s great to have the tank-like durability. The 80 ohm model can be used decently with a phone or laptop. Not sure about the 250 ohm. Only issue I have is the very long cable, which can be fixed for not too much money, especially if you DIY it. 

If you guys want a good chair for gaming, buy a Herman Miller or Steelcase Criterion or Leap chair.  You don't have to pay $1,000 for one.  There are some refurbished sellers that ship you chairs that look as good as new (and sometimes the only thing that needed replacing was the gas canister).
 
Cubicles.com has an Amazon storefront that sells refurbished Criterion chairs.  $351 gets you an adjustable seat depth Steelcase chair ($305 gets you one without the adjustable depth--the extra is worth it for that feature though), which is a lot nicer than the $925 it will cost new.

These chairs may not have the "elite gamer dude" look appeal but they're made to last and be comfortable.  They're high end office chairs for a reason.

Massively torn between DT770 and K371.
 
The 770 has more character to it's audio and the ruggedness/repairability. Very slightly prefer the sound.
 
K371 is a bit more 'boring' but lighter, more comfortable for me and more portable. There is also the bluetooth option. Still really like the sound though just seems to lack the edge/quirks of the 770s. Easy to drive, even compared to the 80Z flavour of he 770s
 
Didn't like the 990 quite as much as the 770s
 
M40x despite being panned a bit now, can see why they're widely recommended. Not in the same league but fun to listen to and affordable. Slightly preferred SRH440 sound but was a bit less engaging and uncomfortable on my head.

I would take that deal in a heartbeat. A GPU that is bottlenecked by a 5820k will also be bottlenecked by a 6700 anyway. And it’s very easy to OC the 5820K to an equivalent performance level (while using a fair bit more power). If you are heavily multitasking it will make a big difference having the extra cores, and it’s easy to upgrade RAM on X99. 
 
Basically this is a great trade for you. Provided of course that there is nothing wrong with the hardware. If you trust the person you’re trading with and you know it works I’d go for it. It’s a win for you 

In what way are competetive videogames any different from any other sport? Physical demands aside, all sports are largely useless talents. Being able to run really fast or kick a ball around is just as useless in a 9-5 job as being good at call of duty is. Why is the salary of a fotball player or a golfer justifieable but an esport player`s isnt?
 
Most sports that have any actual viewership is are money making machines, its not limited to a single sport or "esport". Its not that difficult to imagine why most sport buisness ventures are so lucerative....

You have lower pixel density than a 32" 1080p display. Unless you're sitting across the room, of course it's going to look bad at lower resolutions. Also, non-native panel resolutions have always been sub-par in the image quality. (unless using integer scaling to upscale something from exactly 1/4 or 1/16th of the native resolution)

High refresh rate still isn't available for a reasonable price at 4K, and I'd say the jump from 60 to 144/240 Hz makes a much larger difference than the one from 1440p to 4K. Granted if you're buying a 3090 the price argument is much less compelling.

I like how they play it off as a demand and not supply issue. They are directly correlated.
Next time I drive over the speed limit and get pulled over, I'll tell the officer that the issue is with their limits, not my speed.
