What about LTX Asia or LTX Middle East, LTX World Tour would be even better 🤣

Seriously guys, LTT is in Canada and it's a lot easier to organize such an event in the place you are established,
Not to mention that LTT is a business and the amount of time, personnel and resources required for making LTX happen in the US or anywhere else is not viable.

Ship out a bunch of VR headsets to the convention center. Do a virtual tour.

They could potentially make things easier by planning a bunch of videos they could film in the LTX East host city. For instance, in Montreal they could visit the video game company offices; Boston has an important place in tech history, there's probably some kind of East Coast CES they could cover.

Malware doesnt just reboot and uninstall hardware. Youd also be pretty hard pressed to find someone still targeting windows xp these days.

That being said it was probably more along the line of a drive/os failure or could be as simple as the gpu failed and now the machine runs poorly with no gpu driver installed

Not the way you are thinking. Netflix has an option to save offline using their mobile app, but I dont know if it is a feature for the Windows app.

IIR the streams are encrypted, so even if you say used a proxy server, the data would be useless unless you had a way to decrypt the media.

Well tbf, the bootleg scene seems to have figured out how to get around that stuff already. But that is not a topic to be discussed here on this forum.

Yea then stick with that. Id move all your docs to gsuite, and start deleting/hiding things from the file server to force users onto gsuite.

That LPT is gonna be a pain to use with thin clients.

Id get devices made for thin clients, no rpis here personally.

I also am working on CMMC l3, have fun, its not gonna be cheap, and your gonna have to replace that server 2003 system if its in scope(probably)

Id just use a vm. Server 2033 won't work on any semi modern server these days.

Take a look at the Dell Wyse thin clients.  They are cheap and work great.

Absolutely. I work at a company that's been around since 1978 and we have made numerous orders (some pretty big) from them and we have NEVER had any issues whatsoever.

    My thoughts
I'm honestly not surprised considering the Quest is a glorified android device. This will definitely increase the price of the original headsets like the switch or any other device that has version specific jailbreaks. If you haven't bought a Quest 2, now is the time, even if it's just to scalp them to people wanting to jailbreak later.

You can try interpolating the frames where stutter happened, but if the stutter is more than one or two frames this will probably look worse than just leaving it as is.

CubisticWings4 reacted to keik in How long should I game while charging my laptop?
Well, common trick back in the day was to add basic computer fan (ie: usb powered fan) under the charger and a cpu hotsink on top of it, which never failed. Of course, best scenario is not doing heavy load computing whille charging batteries. Adding any heat spreading, like making sure charger is sitting on flat even surface far from any fabrics like drapes also helps.
Seriously, I doubt you'll destroy your charger, as those are designed to work for at least as long, as the warranty covers them, but changing some habits like making a break every now and then will help to both, preserve teh charger, and your own health

You can't pass a GPU to your host and your VM, only one or the other. IF you had a second GPU, you could pass it to the VM, and split your CPU and RAM up, but you can't split a GPU up...

Been done, tested, and it doesn't work
Distilled water is much much much much cheaper and less corrosive
For the same value as oil, you can use liquid compounds which are much more thermally conductive and are not corrosive

CubisticWings4 reacted to fastfishy2 in very slight fan wobble Gigabyte RTX 2070S
Just got a brand new RTX 2070 Gaming OC from gigabyte, one of the three fans (closest to the display output side) has verrry slight wobble which gets less noticeable the higher speed the fan runs at. It's not making any noise and is running fine. Getting the card fixed or replaced under warranty is not something I really want to do so, is this likely to be much of a problem or is this fine? If not, where can I order a replacement fan as I'd much rather go through that process myself rather than mucking around with the retailer (or god forbid Gigabyte's RMA team especially at this time) over what is otherwise a perfectly fine card.
