Thinking of switching to Ryzen

Good Afternoon and Happy Monday Pt. 2!

 

Reference present build:

i7-7700k

32GB DDR4

RTX 2080Ti

Intel Optane 900P (480GB I think)

 

Now, 

 

I am thinking of switching to Ryzen (Ryzen9 3900X) but I am concerned that I won't get the full experience with the Optane SSD.

 

Has anyone had any issues running this kind of configuration?

I have no actual experience with thise hardware.
But the 900P is essentialy just an SSD, so should work on either platform. (Unlike the Optane cache thing)

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!
I'm just helping YOU to help YOURSELF!
(The more info you give the easier it is for others to help you out!)

i would wait for the ryzen 4000 series. if this pc is for gaming, the improvement in fps from the 7700k to 3900 isn't worth the price.
