The FED raised interest rates. This means it costs more to barrow money. Making it harder for businesses to get capital to expand. So people are in fear and it makes the market go down a bit. 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

I'm kind off happy this is happening hopefully the demand for cryptocurrency will drop and gpu prices wont be so damn high. I bet a lot of miners are pissed tho.

Reading into the interest rates, and apparently the interest rates from Obama's tenure up until a bit before election were 0%. They only started raising after that.

Could've been a setup to fuck whoever got into office next.

Yes but you also invest in good stocks in each respective industry. Also it was more a jab at cryptocurrency in general.
