why does xmp make my pc boot slower

with xmp on my pc takes around 30 secs to a min to boot but with xmp off it take's like 10 secs??????

XMP is like automatic memory overclocking, it can bring instability or even slower boot times

Just set the ram to their highest speed manually in bios without turning on xmp and you'll be fine. Boot times should be normal too

If it's an AM5 platform it means the BIOS is training the RAM at each boot

To avoid that go to BIOS and enable "Memory Context Restore"
