Do you have niche needs/builds that people don't understand?

Freesync and gsync monitors. Plus some games play better with the 470 (fewer frame dips) others with the 1080.

Hmmmm interesting. And somewhat shocking.

Its a 6.44in "phone", but I did the same on my previous 5.5in phone. I have very large hands.

ive always go overkill on my cpu cos it cost more to upgrade.

and it is relatively easy to swap out the GPU...

also I cant justify spending too much on GPU cos I dont game that much.

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.

I got three Piledriver builds. People would say there was no good reason to go FX regardless of use case, but of course they were wrong :P

My favourite form factor is micro-ATX, all my personal builds are always micro-ATX and well usually 80% of people go ATX and the other 20% is Mini-ITX hehehe

I just don't like ATX, empty unused room since I don't need much expansion cards and my favourite cases are Cooler Master micro-ATX ones.

mATX is a great format because it's the right balance between expansion slots and space utilisation I think it is objectively the ideal format for most people I'm just partial to ITX and smaller because space efficiency is something I never get tired of

Yeah, but think niche techie. Things that even fellow techies may not even understand.

My experience, AMD cards have better minimums. My 1080, 1070, and 2GB 860m drops to the 20s a bit too often in some games (Hitman and GTA V), whereas my 2GB HD7750 and 1GB HD7770 GHz edition seldom go under 30. The 470 seldom goes under 40.

Yeah I did notice that. I think it's also true with AMD CPU's. It's such a shame their higher end cards just aren't quite there. Either they're too expensive, too power hungry, or the performance is just a little too low.

I'm not exactly sure if people don't understand it, are just surprised because it isn't the exact style that most tech tubers do their builds in, or a combination.

I typically use mItx, softtubing for the processor, and air cooled GPU.

Well usually people who never actually have to move with their PC or live in giant a house tend to think that sff is pointless (because they have no use for that) but I live away from my home country so I'm regular traveler and I hate gaming laptops (and I'm not shy about that) but I get the "just get a laptop" comment regardless
