Car Enthusiast Club [Now Motorcycle friendly!] - First thread to 150k! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

There is potential in that design. But man Bertone is a real hit or miss company.

I would say that apply's to their post 70's cars everything before then was absolutely beautiful. The only modern car they designed that I liked was the Mantide (not a photogenic car, but looks great in person).

I would be the wrong person to own a Mantide.. First thing i'd do would be to break out the angle grinder.. So many things could be done differently on that car.

I love the stratos

1976+Lancia+Stratos.jpg

And the 2600 sprint, Miura, Fiat X1/9 and the Urraco. 3200 CS, Iso revolta and grifo. Fiat 8v, Lamborghini Espada, Arnolt Bristol, Alfa 1900 and Alfa montreal

Hate the volvo 240 they did. And the Iso Revolta Lele, And what kind of off day were they having when they designed the Daewoo Espero!?

The bertone Blitz is a saaad looking car. The Pickster is just.. What? The Birusa suffers from too much bertone. Nobody would ever buy the Villa,

And i absolutely hate the suganà

@chaozbandit never realized I want the new ford gt so badly until I watched Doug's video.

I thought it was gonna be *too* streetable like every other supercar. i'm glad they didn't do that and pretty much went for the race car.

$500k is probably too much for it though lol

Its the opposite of streetable lol. I'm extremely happy with how Multimatic dialed in their suspension. I had no idea it was dually damped via torsion and spring systems, ontop of the trick DSSV dampers that allow instantaneous ride height adjustment. Track mode physically disengages the springs, leaving just the torsion bars and dampers essentially doubling the spring rate of the chassis.

PROUD TO BE CANADIAN. The Multimatic guys at the factory are cool dudes too.

On a side note:

Got a replacement before I started the engine, kinda cause you don't want oil blowing out everywhere.

Got my car now to learn stick. So far I have reverse down now I just need to get fluids with starting from a complete stop. Stalled many times and made the car buck about 3 times. It's going to take more practice. Now I know why most people are too lazy to learn lol Didn't help my dad was teaching me on a driveway with a slight incline making it roll back. Bleh
