Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

wow how far is school from home? that's like 50 miles a day. that doesn't sound good.

is this the f40 that gas monkey garage built from an essentially totalled f40, by chance? because i recognize those 5 spoke hre rims, plus i haven't seen another black f40.

what happened to the e39 you were interested in?

wasn't able to make it up there for a test drive in time and he ended up selling it. I did like it but 24k seemed pretty steep for an e39 with 100k on it.

just for school? that sucks. i'm assuming you're going to some university? if so, why not just stay on campus and maybe just bike to school?

i'm actually going to two different schools. i'm going to a community college MWF, and university TTH, so commuting isn't really an option. (they happen to be the same distance away from my house) :/

it's cheaper to put miles and pay gas to drive than it is to live on campus also.

I agree. living on campus is expensive and useless. i'll take my 40 minute drive through traffic over it any day...

My clutch hates me though lol

What didn't help yesterday was the "miata expert" as i'm calling him from now on was talking at the track yesterday and was saying "yeah... the stock clutch really doesn't last as long as you think it should..."

I absolutely love it, even on the half hour drive home, it rides so nice, nice linear power, spool is noticeable, it's completely clean underneath too which is rare around here, as far as ride goes, it's got a good spare too
