Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

that's true, but the difference is, Kia and Hyundai don't own other brands. Toyota has Scion (FR-S, tC,  which just got canned) and Lexus,(GS, IS, RC, LFA).

Toyota is the middle brand. buyers want dependable, reliable grocery getters. If I was toyota, I'd have Scion take the sporty cars too. that way they can afford to take risks and make mistakes without damaging the reputation of their main brand.

This needs to happen http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/news/a29111/the-toyota-86s-lead-engineer-wants-a-performance-division-to-rival-m-and-amg/ could lead to some future cars made by toyota to actually be fun.

they kinda already have that with TRD and the Lexus F division... just that all they're doing with it is selling overpriced accessories and putting gazillion speed auto's in them.  what they really need to do is get off the stubborn/lazy asses and develop a proper DSG box to compete in that market...

true, but that was before they had Scion, and mostly before they had lexus. Now that Scion is no more, the Toyota brand does need some sporty cars. Namely something to replace the tC.

I want to say knock-off. But a fairly good one.

Also. I don't think a real one would EVER be transported on something rented from U-Haul...

But they're wilwoods, so almost as good as proper 4 pot calipers from other brands like Stoptech... but wilwood is the only option for a BBK on this car, so I'm stuck with... :(

@warmmilk

On the desktop, click the small square up at the top of the quote. And then backspace.

If you're on Mobile, then click the undo button in the reply-field until it gets removed.

Never actually had a problem with it not working even since the update. :/ Strange..

So in car related posts, I pissed off yet another person. They decide to tailgate me while I'm doing 15 in an apartment complex, I decide to do 2 and sit in the middle of the road.

Wah wah, stop being a dick.
