Technical support usually means those who know how to turn on a computer. It's common everywhere for support to be on this level.

Call your self techie. and respect the EA tech to be smart? You *are techie, so you should know they are not the best out their...

just manuals.

By the way, I think either steam blocked my whole credit c. form their data base, because none of the accounts worked. I had to buy *a game on game fly and activate it on steam.

To love is to risk not being loved in return. To hope is to risk pain. To try is to risk failure, but risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.

'tis normal unfortunately, I had this chat with EA's rep before because a game on origin didn't show up even after 3 days of purchase, they told me it's my computer's fault for not registering...

Check out the build: Used to be Obot, now Lilith

Shameless: Me

I'm at 44 days wasted on anime.. you've got far to go my young padawon.

OT: Honestly it's no surprise. Customer service support sucks for almost every company, that's where they save a lot of money. It only shows so much on big sale days when everyones having a problem .

Really? REALLY?

Let me have the expectation that any online store will not be nuked like Japan when initiating a sale with many of 2013's sought after titles go up to 60% off.

Steam has problems with every sale, so don't act so surprised. Fucking hell.

They need to be better prepared for it. Their customer support sucks (Surprise, Surprise).

They initiate the sale, they should have the hardware to handle it.

It should be their top priority to fix this, as they are losing money.

I am sorry guys, I just purchased Madden 25 for my xbox 360 today because it was on sale on amazon. I'm a big football fan (american, though i used to play futbol) and the last game I've got is madden 10. I'm sorry i supported this subpar company but they force you to by monopolizing the market :(

Well, when my C&C Generals + ZH CD-keys did not work online I got new ones within 2 minutes from EA, including making a photo of the game box with my signature next to it and uploading it to the chat.

As much as I hate them for cancelling C&C, I do give them credit for hiring at least 1 smart guy in the tech support.

This, Steam used to be absolutely shit (around the time it had the olive colour.)

Maybe Origin is just having it's own 'suck period' before it becomes a real contender.

Call centers / online help centers are setup as damage mitigation almost 100% of the time... I work in a call Centre and I have no control over the level of service I give. The system is set up to be a money maker and the minimum wage workers are fodder for angry customers when it all goes to hell.
