$25 isn't bad for the version in other colours, but unless game dev's start implementing the haptic feedback into games for these mice on masse, then I can imagine it becoming very annoying, very quickly. Never say never I guess, I believe Ubisoft incorporated some RGB keyboard features in some of their games, so maybe it could become a thing.

How so? If you're talking about the aesthetics it's not worse than Razer and other popular gaming brands. Still, it's miles better than most of the "edgy Christmas tree led shit lightnings" look that most cheap mouses from china have.

 

Anyway, good review, Linus. Too bad the mouse seems to have low build quality and gimmicky features. I have the first James Donkey mouse(the cheap $10 one) and was eye balling the 007 for a long time, it looks really ergonomic and looking how your hand fits on it while you hold it in your review gives me the impression that it would be very comfortable to use(I have big hands and like big and heavy mouses). 

Where did you find the other color options for $25? Seems like their site is down(I wonder why :)) so I can't check.

 

BTW, I want to know the name of the dpi testing software too.

It must be noted that it's not the same mouse in different colors: the most expensive one is the James Donkey 007, while the $25 one is the James Donkey 325. Almost the same look, but different max DPI, and perhaps other differences I missed.

In other words: don't assume that the $25 325 model will be the same as the one in the video.

I went to check because it ticked many boxes: big, heavy, good sensitivity and polling rate, some ergonomics to it... But it missed the important "cheap" box, at least for the 007 :P
