I've seen a lot of people do it but I've never thought of a name. Maybe the next time I build a PC for myself? I think a name is more of a theme style build, mine was be cheap as possible for college.

Nope, I don't name anything inanimate. To me, they're tools. I'm interested in the tool, and I like the tool but I don't have a relationship with it. I never really understood why people name cars or computers or whatever.

My emubox build is named Kahza

My Dakota is named Dako

My Surface Pro 4 is named Emo Panda

What makes you, you, is your memories. Something that is CPU independent for a PC.

The CPU is most akin to the Intraparietal sulcus, the part of the brain that is believed to be responsible for mathematic reasoning.

The HDD/SSD is akin to the temporal lobes, if you still have those, you're you. Even if it's a slightly 'smarter' or 'dumber' version of you.

I named my build R2-Q5, after the black Star wares droid that resembles the famous R2-D2. Mostly because of the case I have and someone commented that it looked like something from Star wars. Might not be the best comparison but I liked it
