That screen is massive. I'd prefer ~5.1" screen.

I dont really think ram is much of a problem more would be better but 4 is fine as well.I would rather have better battery life and improvement in speakers as well since the one in S7 weren't really that good.

Yea I see your point but at that price it better have 6gb, although I'll give Samsung the benefit of the doubt since they have to make up the last money from the note 7 fiasco

I think it's fine considering they are trying to make it in the footprint of the old respective phones but yea I think that would be a good market for them too.

Nah, there is a curved screen. Apple isn't innovative enough to do that.

Hmm i saw supposidly leaked cases which had spots for an s pen maybe the 6.2" version will come with it? Or case could be completely fake. Not sure how i feel about this i really dislike how much samsung curves the phone on its S series compared to the note 7 specifically.

I hope they have a sense of humour, and sell the S8's with micro fire extinguishers for a laugh.

Looks about what I imagined. I hope that the bigger screen model also gets a bump in RAM, but we'll see.

The battery size is a little disappointing, but I kind of get it. They're likely a little nervous about packing a huge pack in there, and the rumored sizing is actually quite compact as well. They had excellent battery life in the Note5 with the same size battery so I don't see it being a huge issue.

I don't think this will satisfy people who have been waiting for the Note. It's not the big screen that we miss. You can get that on any number of excellent devices. It's the pen.

I would buy it if it wasnt for the big a$$ screen

The actual physical size is supposed to be quite small. Would that make any kind of difference?

Looks like an iphone with a headphone jack and samsung camera.

Guess the whole "Apple copied its designs from samsung" thing didn't quite ring true this time around...

Except it doesn't look a whole lot like an iPhone, and this is the same design language Samsung has used for the past few years.

Sooooo...their new note without the note pen...plus even the 5.8 inch s8 has a bigger screen than the note 7 so...ermmm...too big? :D

I mean I'm still using my z3 compact without any issues with it's 720p screen and it's 4.6 inch in size where holding my mother's iphone 6 plus is wayyyyyyy too big :/

To be fair the iPhone 6 Plus is one of the largest phones made that doesn't go into the massive 6.5" territory.

They have horrible use of space on that device.

I have honestly no idea how you guys are seeing this. The back is totally different, iPhone edges aren't glossy like that either, and iPhones don't have curved screens. Iphones also have home buttons, and this doesn't.

WTF are you talking about?

No curved edges on the iPhone? Have you SEEN an iphone recently? Where is the curved screen you're touting about? Screen looks perfectly flat to me in the picture.

The damn thing looks identical. Oooo they changed the finish on the metal back... ooooo innovation....

Fine, I'll concede a point. It looks more like the iPhone 6 than it does the iPhone 7.

So samsung is behind a generation now. Seems about right.

I believe this is NOT gonna happen, if they have a S series that's 6.2" then how big is the Note gonna be? 9"?

True true :P

I mean my perfect screen size would be something like 5 inches or 5.2 but ya know, 4.6 inch just means that I can use it one handed no matter how I hold it.

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...
