After the Note 7 fiasco, Samsung as unveiled on their South Korean website their next product: the Chromebook Pro. 

This Chromebook will be a convertibile with a 12" screen and a resolution of 2400 by 1600 (no word on oled or lcd) so a 3:2 aspect ratio, 32GB of storage with SD card extension, 4GB of RAM, and hexa-core SoC clocked at 2 GHz, two USB-C ports, an headphone port, 10 hours of battery and most notable feature: comes with the S-Pen.

The device seems to be made entirely of aluminium, and will come with one year sub to AirDroid.

Samsung as yet to officially announce the device, so release date, price and availability remain unknown for the time being, 

 

I may have found my MacBook replacement right there! The S-Pen is love.

Now that Chromebooks are getting Android app support this might actually be pretty sweet. Personally I'd rather get a Windows based PC once you start getting into the 600 dollar (or whatever this will cost) zone, but I can see this being appealing to a lot of more casual users.

I'm at my high school and they don't block the LTT forums but they do block pictures and videos lmao

If it supports all android apps and the price is right, I guess it could be decent

If this is at the right price I may just be getting one. Been itching for a nice little Tablet/Laptop hybrid for light creative tasks and if this allows Android apps would be great for that.

According the the article one store already has (or had, it's been taken down now) it up for pre-order for 499 USD. At that price I can see it being very appealing to people. It's not announced yet though so that price might not be right.

same thing, i'll take it! If it's re-purposed Note 7 Pens, even better!
