Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Pre Orders are surprisingly low with games like Mafia 3 and even NBA: 2K17 beating COD by a significant amount.

This is a good sign in my opinion. Perhaps people have finally learned not to pre-order things.  That or they've just lost interest in CoD

The only question that remains is will Activision notice that pre-orders low, care about it, and manage to entice people by increasing pre-order bonuses?

Well this is what happens when devs don't listen to their fanbase/playerbase. This is the result, I'm also willing to bet that whoever preorders is on for COD4(2) and not the actual IW nonsense.

 

 

Ryan_Vickers: If they add stuff that matters it might work...at least for some it will. Others depend on what it does, value for it and other things.

Lovely, I fully expect the following to happen

 

1) They'll blame it on the filthy, filthy pirates

2) They'll change it to a "starter" edition and sell you the faster level progression and prestige badges and such

3) They'll immediately announce a WW1 shooter next now

4) They'll also "focus on mobile gaming" because of course if you can't compete with the big boys the most dignified (and transparent) way to exit is to pretend you didn't want to compete anyway

 

Hopefully it will do enough damage to them that they actually change something more fucking significant than 1-4 but well, look about who we're talking about here.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

Not to utterly defend ubi, but most of their hate comes from failed innovation (most of the time, this doesn't include Primal. That shit was pathetic). At least they tried to mix things up and improve on their stuff. Although in the end, it made things worse, they still tried. Unlike COD, where its the same game right down to the fucking engine. Tacking on more movement doesn't make it a new game.

Pretty much bang on. I haven't actually pre-ordered, but I am interested due to the Modern Warfare remake. I haven't bough a CoD since BO1,if Infinite Warfare has a halfway enjoyable campaign then that'll be a bonus. I actually kind of like the overall pretense of the thing, but I haven' saturated myself with futuristic shooters in the last few years so I guess I'm one of the few anomalies.
