AMD's Polaris GPUs will support up to 240Hz Displays

I find this something that they should put no matter what, I mean its next gen GPU's and we need bigger/better stuff

AMD has created a new section of their website that offers some details on their upcoming Polaris GPUs, stating that they will offer increased levels of performance, a smoother VR experience, support for next generation gaming monitors and video streaming and recording capability without the need of wasting any of your CPU time.  

 

The first thing for this page to promise is "cool efficiency" promising that with their new GCN 4.0 architecture and the latest 14nm FinFET processing technology that these GPUs will be the most efficient that AMD has ever made. With AMD promising a 2x improvement in power consumption per unit performance over their current generation hardware we expect these GPUs to be fairly easy to cool.    

 

AMD has upped their game when it comes to processing media with their Polaris architecture, with built-in H.265 encoding capability, which allows them to easily record 4K 60Hz gameplay for streaming or simple recording purposes, all without using any of your CPU resources.

hehe..120hz on 4k...like any dual GPU cards is going to be able to drive that...never mind single cards (maybe vega can but still..)

BF4 on a single Titan X at Ultra, no anti aliasing, runs at around 70-75FPS depending on the map of course.
