I stopped playing PC just before Christmas and now when I come back and tried playing any game its capping my FPS at 83! I am running a 3800x, 32gb ram and 3070ti. I’ve tried everything in Rivatuner and Nvidia control plannel and experience. Even tried uninstalling them and reinstalling the drivers. Before I stopped playing I was playing FiveM and used rivatunner to cap my fps but turned it all off. I have no clue what to try next. I’ve even tried running games where I should be getting multiple 100 fps and still capping at 83. That’s windowed and full screen.

Your sure this setting in rivatuner is at 0?

Otherwise just make sure that vsync is off. If vsync was already on before but your still getting lower fps, check the windows refresh rate cap (settings-system-display-scroll down until you see advanced display information).

I edit my messages more than not –

Probably some dude on the internet

Yes, I’ve checked ribs tuner and even tried changing it to 300 and back to 0 and unistalling it. Tried display settings to change the hz of my monitor and still nothing. Just don’t want to reinstall windows if I can fix it
