He's a socialist socialist. Remember the first (or second idk) democratic debate? He only expresses socialist views and values, he wants to turn America into Europe 2.0 where there's 23% sales tax. He has no understanding of how to run a country. The only people that want to vote for him are people that also have no basic understanding of economics or how to run a country.

hey what's wrong about socialism? I don't even get why the americans made such a huge mess about obamacare. Here in europe we all have health care (compulsory) and neither we went in the ruin nor we are not free. same with gun control.... sadly the congress blocks that.

Do you live in America? I thought not. Obamacare was a bad legislation and that's that. It only served to raise the price of Healthcare for EVERYBODY (Going to the ER now costs $500 for us out of pocket, before the legislation it cost $100 for us. Our Healthcare also costs more per month, and we're covered less.) except the people that stay at home doing jack shit (the leeches.) 

 

On socialism, total socialism only works in a perfect world. Where nobody is selfish, corrupt, unhappy, and everybody is okay with everything. Everybody can't be paid the same in the real world. Everybody does different jobs in the real world. So many people are corrupt and selfish in the real world. It doesn't work here. 

 

Then do educate me on how to run a country.

I can't. Mohenjo describes it perfectly: It's more complicated than reading a book. Bernie Sanders has no understanding on running a country (or running anything haha) because he doesn't have experience. He doesn't have a legitimate plan for America and he doesn't know how to do anything.

We don't own assault rifles in America unless you purchase your service rifle from the military, or it's from before the 60's. If you're talking about normal long rifles then you're sadly mistaken.

A lot of the things he said about his life have been shown to be factually skewed. Along with inconsistently telling stories differently.

Sometimes you have to protect the public against its own stupidity. But when trump comes in....

The difference between European socialism and American socialism is that America is a massive country with a population and size closer to the likes of something like Russia or China. Smaller countries with small populations like Finland, Sweden, Estonia, etc are small and nimble enough, and the citizenry educated enough that they can regulate themselves without things getting out of hand. America, on the other hand, is a different story. It's so big and unwieldy, with the decisions of so few people affecting the lives of such massive numbers of politically apathetic or ignorant people that the incentives to be corrupt are too great. Countries as big as America in both area, population size and distribution are too big for socialism to result in anything other than what you have in China or Russia. Mostly because too few people are in unchallenged and unaudited charge of so many.

 

That's also why we need guns, because the establishment is so at risk of becoming corrupt, possibly even hostile to its constituents, that the people need to be able to overthrow an oppressive government if they feel the need to. No guns would be nice, but in a country this large, that is a very unrealistic thought. We need people to be able to defend themselves.

Don't get me wrong, European Socialism would be a much less terrible way to go if the country were split up in such a way that each state functioned as its own independent country, but the Civil War stopped that from ever being a possibility.

I just was curious which policies you liked but if you don't want to say that is OK with me.
