The guy clearly was dealing with some issues and seems very unstable. Blinding believing every claim he is making here without any proof would be incredibly ignorant.

 

Prove that his claims are false.  What has been described in this thread, as far as police brutality is concerned, is quite mild compared to some of the other crimes that officers partake in.  There is literally no logic to stating that his claims are false, especially without evidence.  Are you trying to pretend to be smarter than everyone? 

 

It does not even matter to me if the claims are true or not.  I would rather err on the side of caution to reinforce the very real fact that the abuse described here is a daily occurrence in most major metropolises throughout North America.

Suicide IS selfish, it is a permanent solution to a temporary problem that only harms the people who love you. Depression is something that people need to work through, there is no quick simple fix, such as "growing up," but people can get over it.

 

RIP Ian Murdock.

 

Wanting someone to live with intense internal pain because you don't want to see them go is selfish. Suicide is not.

Sad to see someone commit suicide but while it's arguably selfish to do it, it's just as selfish, if not more so, to demand that they live on with whatever problems or pain they experience.

There can be other reasons for suicide than just depression and not all problems are solvable. Some people might have terminal illness and wish to go out quickly instead of slowly withering. Some might have chronic illness with little to no treatment who experience pain or other debilitating problems every day and you want them to live on solely so you won't have to go to their funeral and experience sadness (most of which is probably temporary). A sadness or depression that probably pales in comparison to the one experienced by the person contemplating suicide.

There's definitely a lack of understanding of mental illness, what drives people to suicide and the right of a person to do with their lives as they please.

Even medical staff with years and years of education, training and experience often show a disturbing lack of empathy for the people in their care, so it's not uncommon or unexpected that regular folks would.

He sounded extremely unstable... I guess it's a thing of the past since he died for pretty much no reasons but for himself.

 

It's sad seeing lives go away due to war or reason, only to gain honor and dignity.

 

And then you have this guy... killing himself for pretty much no reason. Raising more questions than answers. I've honestly never heard of someone committing suicide when angry before. Did he not just go to bed and wake up to see if he felt the same in the morning? Many things can fix that... unless you're under the influence of something perhaps...

What is Debain ? And what is it and how do people use it ? Also why haven't I heard of this?

It is basically the dominate Linux Distro, Ubuntu is based off of it.

if linux was a tree, debian would be the biggest, largest branch of that tree. Debian is a linux distribution (that you can get over here), i would say the most popular distro since it's the base for many other distros out there

(Spelled Debian) It's an OS which uses the Linux Kernel. Used on Space stations, military, consumers etc. It's free You haven't heard of this because most people don't know about it. IT's really for Power Users and not for people who are new to Linux.

Actually most of the average Linux users also use Debian, because most popular Linux distros are based on it.
