That my i5 4690K wouldn't be able to play any games at max settings because it's an i5 and it would be a huge bottleneck

Never heard the earth is flat one before xD As for people telling the difference between things.... I've heard people saying they NEED at least 200-300FPS or games look laggy to them... Even after I explain that their 60Hz Screen will NOT display more then 60 of the frames a second... they still argue it xD

What they might be experiencing is input lag due to V-Sync, if that's how they would normally cap their frame rate.

I support this. I play osu! a lot, and I recognise the input lag difference MASSIVELY between 75 and over 1000FPS.
