Seriously MSI seems to be in a level all in itself.  

No ASUS all the way

MSI and Asus generally have amazing looking parts.  The gold Asus motherboards look terrible with anything though.

although asrock has some nice looking z170 mobo

asus makes some good looks stuff but not like MSI

No most of the Z-170 boards look good with most colors. It works best with the anniversary addition card.

I hate the MSI dragon, and the emblem. 

 

Only their gaming brand has the dragon

 

their non-gaming stuff is pretty sexy

Yeah my MOBO is MSI. They just make good looking MOBOs straight out. Except the value boards but what company makes cool looking value boards anyways.

Meh, I like the red and black but really I find their look to be cheap, as for asus they seem very odd as a company imo and I don't trust them, though I am unsure why

I hate the MSI dragon, and the emblem. 

this.  Dragon branding and almost comical emphasis on being "#1 in gaming" really turns me off.  Their X power and Krait stuff is pretty neat though IMO...

Well I like MSI because that actual have a good cool scheme. Most motherboards are either super bright or darker but tan or something like that.

As I said I have no idea, but in my mind something is off, call it a gut feeling, and that's all I really can say about it. I'm aware it makes no sense.
