i dont understand how you can spend 84 thousand dollars on a rig like this when you can easily make a PC that can run triple 4k racing sims for $5000, and i doubt you can spend the remaining $80k on basically a chair and some pistons?

GTA 5 and BF4 look way better on PS4 and it's only $400. Why would anyone spend money on a computer???? My ps4 rune Battlefield 4 on like 120fps on ultra, 4k.

A lot of people just aren't getting it. Deadmau5 made a perfect point on something similar to this as he has a fairly expensive simulator himself, around 20k or so. If you have the money and you're into hardcore into Motorsport this will be perfect for you. What else can provide you with the ability to test any car on any track in the world whenever you want and for however long you want?, it may be over priced but it's worth it to the right person.

seems to be more and more simulation rigs like this now. i remember seeing one at my local fair. think there were two of them, each worth 25 or so grand. both had a thrustmaster t500rs and triple monitors+surround sound kit with that rolling cage. but one rig was F1 and the other Nascar (both on iRacing). sadly they didn't let me on the F1 rig since they told me the forces were too strong for me to handle, so I went on the Nascar rig. after a solid half hour on it I actually wanted to buy one lol.

personally i think simulation rigs like this are nice to have. it's not like the average person can ever be allowed to drive an F1 car or Nascar car to the limit. though the rig OP linked is a little too expensive
