Finally Google announced the Name of Android 6.0 AKA Marshmallow

I have no idea. I just remember Kit-Kat, and immediately figured they would do it again later on. Unless Kit-Kat is not the brand, and it is actually the name of the candy itself. In which case, my entire life has been a lie.

Half a year? Or do you mean half a year after 5.1? At least when 6.0 releases it will be 1 year after 5.0, which is exactly how long it has been between all iOS main versions. They might just be speeding up how often they increase the main version number.

Am I the only one who thinks naming it 6.0 means they consider 5.x a failure?

For 4.4, Google made a deal with Nestlé to use the word KitKat. Not sure if the same will happen with Nutella.

There's no reason it shouldn't come to the old Nexus 5, given the Nexus 4 has been updated to Lollipop.

Wtf happened to Lollipop?

I think the better question is what didn't happen with Lollipop, the answer being - Ever work properly.

 

I honestly don't care what they name the system as long as it works. I'd be more than happy to have a Droid Turbo perfectly running the rooty tooty fresh n' fruity 7.9
