You could put it in 'Networking' or 'Gaming' or 'Troubleshooting' or 'PC Gaming' depending on what the question was. Although, if you really can't think of a place and the question is somewhat generic, put it in the 'General Discussion' place and just say you couldn't think of where to put it. 

 

Don't worry about misplacing it too, as long as your question is answered, it's been effective, right? Although I assume it has already been answered by now

Well hello to everyone in the general vicinity i suppose.

 

I ran out of beer an hour ago and copying 4Tb of Data from one HDD to another still has another 20+ hours to go...

 

I've been meaning to drop in here for about 18 months now, but since my better half decided to mix vodka with my PC it looks like i'm on the market for a new PC.

 

I'm going to see the prices and review of the x99 stuff and see what price drops of the z97 are before starting to put together a list.

 

Also 2 HDD failures in 3 months means i have been mandated by she who must not be named that i have to "fix the problem so she doesn't loose another episode of Jeremy Kyle". Personally, i'm quite happy that we lost 6 season of that show, but apparently i'm not meant to think like that

 

So it looks like a NAS is on the horizon for me as well.

thanks for that, I'm putting together a list based on z97 at the moment, when I'm mostly happy, I'll drop by the new builds forums and see what people think.

As for the NAS, I still don't know whether I'm going down the pre built or custom route yet.
