Here's my take on people being LGBT. I'm personally straight, I'm ok with people who are LGBT because it's someone else's life and not mine, and it's not really my problem, they can do what they want to do. I just don't really like it if people are trying to shove there religions at other people as if it's the only thing to believe. It's the worst thing anyone can ever do is to just make everyone feel bad about themselves and act as if someone is gonna die because of there belief. I mean even when people say the bible makes mean references against homosexuals and all and say that "God" (Yes, I'm somewhat Christian, I follow the religion somewhat vaguely, as in, don't be an asshole) hates gays, and to that, I say, well if he hates them and you believe God created all people, than why would he create a gay. I don't think being gay really is a choice, I feel like it's more of a born this way thing. Even the bible actually makes a couple of references of guys being homosexuals I believe. But what's to say that God wouldn't forgive you for being gay? I mean if he truly does forgive all, wouldn't he forgive people for being gay? On being transgendered, I'm ok with it yes, but if it was someone in my family I think it would definitely be awkward for a little while. The whole problem is that everyone has an opinion and people need to stop acting as if there opinion is law. Sure, I have my opinions, but I don't go saying someone is an ass because they disagree. Someone I know used to have a saying; "Opinions are like assholes, everybody's got one, and they all smell bad" and it really does make sense. Bottom line is; if you know I'm straight and your gay and your trying to get in my pants, fuck off. If you're cool with being friends, than awesome. Some people are just too old fashioned and sensitive. (Not the LGBT community; the men+women that are straight).

it is a born this way thing, you literally don't choose to be gay, straight, bi, pan, asexual, agender, transgender, genderfluid etc... You're born like it, or you discover it at some point down the line. Either way it's there from birth.

 

The whole "god hates fags" thing can be pretty much exclusively blamed on the WBC (partly because they're just fucking assholes anyway and I want them all publicly executed to make an example of what happens to Class 1A fucking assholes) and their "messages of truth from god".

 

Also, I'd hope it wouldn't be awkward if someone in your family was transgendered. I'd hope you'd accept that change. Sure, you might fuck up and call them by their old name for a bit, but it shouldn't be awkward.

I do actually have someone that is transgendered in my family and also a gay brother. It's just kinda awkward with the transgendered person in my family probably because she wasn't ever really around me when I was a kid and I've only met her in person a handful of times and we don't talk or really connect, but I don't act like an ass and call her names or anything. No one deserves to be cut down and called names.

You just have to figure it out for yourself. No-one but you knows what you really like (in most cases anyway...(well... except NSA)), and thus you just have to know yourself better what attracts you, what disgusts you, what you don't care about etc..

 

I thought I was asexual until I got my first crush around age of 14, and I tried to forget about the subject around age 16. It took a year for me to succeed at inhibiting those feelings to a level where the feelings no longer exist. And recently, by better analysis and knowledge on the subject, I have come to almost the same conclusion I drew in the first place: unsure, borders asexual and straight. Romantic interests remain like for any "normal" person, but sexual interests barely exist. I guess it's tied to the neutral gender identity.

 

But yeah. No-one really can answer your question, but yourself. This goes for a lot of personal topics, and this one is no exception.

I mostly just walk away when I encounter people like that. A conversation is pointless if I cant get to know the person. Just feels like you're speaking to a walking ideology...

Just what I expected. If I were you, I would do the same: not talking, unless absolutely necessary, and when that happens, try to fake the voice somehow.

 

Too bad there aren't ways to change how you sound like (other than stay mute), or at least revert the changes done to the vocal cords caused by testosterone during puberty stage of male teens. It's actually one of the main reasons why I wouldn't switch genders if I had the chance. But if that wasn't the problem, it would be almost 50/50 choice, but still leaning towards male end of the spectrum for the physical and social benefits (no, not meaning financial benefits, despite it using similar term, but that could count too, considering average salary differences between the two genders..)

I just find not much sexual interest, whenever i see any male or female sexualized on per say a magazine cover or a movie it's just cold turkey for me (where some others it drives them utterly insane), Porn i guess in general is cold turkey for me too, I'd rather watch some Mlp or Steven universe than 2 dudes and a chick doing ....something with the prime minister and a bin lorry ontop of a windmill (sorry i've been watching too much ytp )
