What the actual floop. When I type this up for the 2nd time and hit "post" It comes up with "No internet connection". How nice. Here goes try #3. This time with copying before posting... My luck huh?

 

Right, so a bit of background before posting this (again) on my mom. I generally think of her as kind and accepting, but my views on her and attitude to her changed a bit after this.

 

So me and her were sitting around the tv watching "The Last Ship" I think it was called when the channel switches to a commercial for a reality show of two parents with a bisexual son and transgender daughter. Alright, s'okay with me, but do we really need a show on this? I mean, we've already got that octomom show, can't people just focus on their own lives and leave others alone? Then halfway through introducing the show, my mother says out loud something along the lines of:" Seriously? a kid the age of 16 experimenting like that? and her parents allowing this? They are far too young to know what they are doing."

 

Now this offends me because of a few reasons. one, I go to a pretty accepting highschool where you are accepted for who you are and your uniqueness is an important thing.

 

Another is that I never really expected my mom to be this irrespective to somebody, in my experience she was always awesome.

 

and lastly  is that I can't remember because I'm tired so I'll see if I can in the morning.

 

So since I'm not okay with this I just can't even. Although, I don't act as friendly to her anymore (even though I still love her) I have been doing some   thiiiingssss... Like when setting the table giving her a small fork when me and my dad get the normal large ones   oh boy am I clever. Mainly though I am just upset as to how she can thionk this way. I know it';s her opinion, but these are different times now, and people should be becoming to learn that.

I knew I was gay when I was 4. I was ogling over the men's underwear sections of clothes magazines since 5 or 6.
