I might just go up to my local store and by the 100rnd box of those they've had sitting for a while now. Tried to buy twenty off of them, but for whatever reason they will only sell them as a 100 box

It's easier to sell as a bulk. Also, apparently the greentip 556 rounds are also illegal now. Still have some though.

Once again, unless you box are cheap steel core surplus you bought on sale, then this wont affect you in the slightest. If anything, it will drive the cost of other ammunition down after some time. 

 

As a hole in the market develops from the absence of a whole type, people begin to buy other types of rounds. Those rounds go into demand, raising the price and giving more incentive for others to begin producing and selling them. After a rise in market price more manufacturers begin producing and selling the now high demand rounds. Eventually the new products flood the market, causing a crash and the prices to plummet, soon after the smaller manufacturers go out of business leaving now more than there were initially and the price to even back out, lower than initially.

 

Or i could be completely wrong and we could all die because of invading aliens and we dont have bullets enough to kill them.

How would it not affect me? Once I run out, I can't buy more. I agree with everything else, just to clarify.

Assault Rifles is not a real term, Assault is a verb. There are Battle Rifles, Combat Rifles, but no such thing as an Assault Rifle.

The NRA will try and stop it from ever happening like when the Gov't tried to ban ARs last year. It wont happen. Too many people will fight that since its their Right To Bear Arms.

My first time shooting, not an AR but an AK, I felt like I was king of the world. Also, I'm a natural. An amazing shot. My first ever shot with the AK I hit a 250meter target with a 4x zoom on it. I love the sound of your bullet hitting metal from far away. It's just... so satisfying.

edit: It is readily apparent that some people don't understand the ridiculous nature of the exaggeration. Gun abolition (shown in the video) is not the same thing as gun control. Somehow banning a certain military grade equipment is considered "infringing on the 2nd amendment" by people who probably don't understand the historical context of the 2nd amendment anyways. I'll put that explanation I've already given in another thread underneath.

It was about giving The People as a whole the ability to defend themselves without relying solely on an army, it was not however about provisioning the ability of single individuals to own their own private cache of weapons as this does not fall into any definition of a well regulated militia. Militias, being one of the main reasons the Revolutionary War was a success, were deemed necessary in a time period where the professional standing army would take days if not weeks to reach their destinations and because it may have not been foreseeable what funding structure would be given to them. Anyone who has taken a very basic (and competent) history class would know all of that.

 

The modern day well regulated militia of the United States is the national guard which can be deployed by both the state government or it can be federalized and deployed by the President of the United States.

True, but I'm still a little worried. I mean, it's not new for an amendment to be overturned with another amendment. If prohibition was overturned because enough people hated it, then so could right to bear arms.

Mine has a 100rnd box of surplus tracer rounds, which are basically incendiary.

 

Some of us like Steel core because it shoots better out of our military type barrels, and works better in our M4 feedramps.

I have 3 30rd mags. And a drawer full of mix matched ammo. But you should see my friend's house. He has 15 AR mags and 12 AK mags. It's ridiculous. Also, he just brought over my assault vest, if you guys would want to see I can post a pic.
