Hi, I've read every manual I can find but I can't figure out how to use the Gigabyte Q-Flash thing to upgrade my BIOS. I'm trying to upgrade from a Ryzen 5 2600 to a 5600 on my B450 motherboard, but obviously that won't work if I'm still on the July 2020 BIOS, how do you use the thing?

If you've already got a compatible CPU it's a lot easier and more reliable just to update in BIOS. If we knew what motherboard you have it's going to be in the manual and we can show you how to do that.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

I'm trying to upgrade in BIOS but I can't figure it out; it's the B450 Aorus M, but I haven't been able to find any useful instruction in the manual.

It's in that manual.

Q-Flash: In BIOS updater.

Q-Flash Plus: Flashback using the button on the board.

I much prefer flashback methods, I find them personally much less prone to screwing something up but I flash BIOSes a lot and it just makes sense to me. Dealing with various UI's and restrictions some have vs. others is a pain. I've had some boards when using certain HDMI monitors just go black screen and you don't know when it finishes. Flashback just keeps things consistent for me as long as you're familiar with the prerequisites.

If you already have a working system, its probably easier to just use Q-Flash like @IkeaGnomesuggested.
