Updated Never Settle :D

Hope there's going to be Watch Dogs..

And I hope these new graphics cards are not going to be much more expensive than the actual ones

Watch Dogs is a Nvidia title.

According to leaked, its part of amd never settle bundle.I can't find any source that said it is part of nvidia title

Linus' unboxing of the 760 shows a nice picture, oh and half of those "AMD" games run better on Nvidia, sorry.

This leak is probably false, Nvidia did have Watch Dogs on their list with TXAA support but no physx, but it isn't necessarily an Nvidia title, it could very well end up in an AMD bundle. Just like Far Cry 3 which is from the same developer as watch dogs, Far Cry 3 was developed & optimized for Nvidia hardware & had support for Nvidia technologies like HBAO, but ended up in the AMD bundle.

I'm excited.  With frame time issues being solved, I have no more reservations about buying into AMD graphics.

If the 9970 is priced right (~500-550), matches or exceeds the 780, and continues Never Settle, I'm sold.  Two of those will end up in my rig so fast.

(Well maybe just one until I upgrade to 2560.)

And 7970 at $329?  That's insane.  Overclocks to within spitting distance of a 780 for half the price, plus Never Settle.  Insane.

9970?

AMD is skipping the 8xxx??

Rumors say so yes, since the 7970 OEM is the 8970.

Xelithium, I hate to say this but you seem to be an obvious Nvidia fanboy :/

7970 cost $350 nearly half what it costed at launch lmfao

I ran Crysis 3 on Maxed out settings and it takes 2gb of Vram on a 1280x1024 resolution so gpus having 2gb of vram is very borderline.

PC Per did a test of Crysis 3 on a 4k TV and they were using around 3.6 gb of the 4 gb of ram on that particular 680 so I'd say 4 should be the absolute minimum for next gen but i'd prefer higher

You don't happen to have a link do you ? I read the 4K review but didn't see any memory utilization charts.

I absolutely agree that 2GB is not enough, but didn't think that even 3GB of vram can be maxed out.

Starting around the 35min mark. BF3 is first, Crysis comes after.

The 9970 looks like is going to be an absolute beast, easily a titan killer.

http://www.tomshardware.com/news/AMD-Radeon-Volcanic-Islands-7790,22518.html#xtor=RSS-998

That is a Firepro Card, It has ECC DDR3 Memory, its a 576 bit memory bus too,

The Radeon version would likely be 512bit memory bus, with GDDR5 instead.
