Have you ever been hurt by a computer component before?

Toasted Waffles

I'm just wondering, has anyone been hurt before by a computer component?

I smacked my face into my 900D Front Bezel ON ACCIDENT and my face lost the battle :C (Face + Steel = Steel wins)

My hand wouldn't stop bleeding after I cut it with a old heat-sink from a old desktop I had been taken apart.

Because he had a hard drive.

I dropped a PSU on my foot once, luckily I was wearing shoes and it was some unbranded wong dong ima go wrong heap of shit from china so it didn't hurt too much. If it was my Silent Pro M 700w or my AX 750 it would have hurt like hell.

Someone threw a computer (full of components) out their front window as I was walking by one time, about 30 pounds in metal from a 20 foot drop on my shoulder head area, luckily im pretty big so I shook it off but if a child had been there it would not have ended well.

I used to have an LED strip behind my monitors, which was powered with some cables poking out of the back of my PC. Once while I was cleaning my desk, one of the (many, un-soldered) connections in the cable came apart, and without noticing, I touched the bare cables. After a few seconds of trying to work out what a mysterious clicking sound was, I realized that I was receiving several electric shocks, to the point that I actually burnt the end of my finger.

Also I have received the obligatory cut from the CPU heatsink, and several fan induced injuries.

My PC:

And I stuck my finger in a fan by accident and the blade removed my fingernail about half way. It was a fast fan. It burrowed under the nail.

Blookd looks good. It was that Sapphire blue and white one. But you are right.

No it was like one of those old shitty ones from the 90s lol, not to mention it was completely broken (I think I hurt it more than it did me LOL).

LOL I have done this SOOOO much, i even broke one of the fans that come with the 750D doing this, and they aren't cheap fans. I have a 200mm fan wired up to a wall power supply so I have a desk fan since my room gets so freaking hot and I can't believe I haven't broken it accidentally sticking fingers into it while it was running on my desk :P
