but idk if there isn't a better alternative

for the value there isn't really

for performance there's the Lian Li P28's for $56 for three and they've got great CFM without that much noise

yes, it's under the max cooler height

I'm building a pc, with the H6 flow case, which has max 163mm cpu cooler height, and the ak620 digital which is 162mm, i'm wondering if only 1mm space left is ok? Another question is which fans are the best to get for the cooler (since the stock ones suck), i think about getting the arctic P12 PWM, but idk if there isn't a better alternative

How many watts is that PSU? Instead of getting the Fan hub get the PST version of the P12 and then you can just daisy chain them

Which msi b650m motherboard?

Everything else looks good 👍

Is the thermalright thing this?

image.png.e5abf5af680a861de533bbc72b00747f.png

If so, its entirely not needed if you want to save some pocket change

H6 flow is a great choice

Is the AK620 digital a must? Are any of thermalrights coolers available to you or do you really want the digital screen included?

System specs:

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D [-30 PBO all core]

GPU: Sapphire AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT NITRO+ [1050mV, 2.8GHz core, 2.6Ghz mem]

Motherboard: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI

RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO RGB 32GB 6000MHz CL32 DDR5

Storage: 2TB SN850X, 1TB SN850 w/ heatsink, 500GB P5 Plus (OS Storage)

Case: 5000D AIRFLOW

Cooler: Thermalright Frost Commander 140

PSU: Corsair RM850e

The PSU is 750W, i want the AK620 because it looks good, and the other cooler i wanted to get, deepcool assasin IV is too tall for the case, and has some weird fan noise. I Also chose the motherboard because it looks good, and is a pretty good value for the VRM and looks. I got the cpu contact frame because it's pretty cheap, but can slightly improve the temps, and gives me a peace of mind, especially if i upgrade to a more power hungry cpu in the future. The P12 PST fans are actually a good idea, only 50 cents more expensive so i might actually get them, but how would i go about chaining them, when they across the entire case? I also still would get the FAN hub, because i want to minimise the cables on the front

cable manage from the back. I've got a p12 pst and it's basically an extra fan header but on the end of the cable so you can chain them together

the cables won't go across the front, but you can if you want

That fair enough, if you want to get it, it isnt super expensive and has a few benefits, but i will say, for AM5 you wont see any change in temps

All the other yeah perfect, i know some people like certain aesthetics and the screen on the digital is a real fun quirk to have

All my fans' RGB, my GPU's RGB and my right angle 24pin's RGB are all daisy chained off each other, there are many ways of hiding and managing cables well

Very nice cable management! Looks really good. Bruh?! Wth, did you have a left over fan from your 3D printer or something. Why?

Shhhh, i contemplated painting it black but you cant see it when the tinted side panel is on and the RGB lights up everywhere but there 😋WhatsAppImage2024-03-29at3_54_20PM.thumb.jpeg.a5ec617200ebbc0cea340d7f1be6ee7d.jpeg

No i seen a couple tests done with small 40mm fans, having them on there stops the GPU circulating its own hot exhaust air, it only reduces temps by a handful of degrees but the fan is silent, tiny and easy to setup so why not, I have another one too just above the GPU backplate blowing up through the I/O shield/VRM heatsink, cools the VRMs slightly, i dont think ive seen my max VRM temps, under load, pass 35C
