  1. Alright, thanks for the reply
  2. Hey, so I'm wondering if you can reuse thermal paste. I'm not talking about the thermal paste already applied on the cpu, but the leftover thermal paste in the syringe. Thanks!
  3. Alright, I know all I need to know for now . I hope this post was helpful to someone else.
  4. Ooh alright, that makes sense. So is there even a point of having a capture card if you already need/have a recording software (using just 1 pc)
  5. Thanks for asking but nope. I only needed to know if capture cards were better performance wise, and I needed an answer but there was none online so I asked here.
  6. Ooohh ok I understand now, so there is virtually no difference between a recording software and a capture card when only 1 pc is involved (basically)
  7. Alright thanks for the reply. And yes I was trying to game and record from 1 pc, sorry if this was a dumb question, I'm new to recording and stuff so
  8. Alright so this question is gonna be kind of short. Does a game capture card degrade performance like a recording software? If so, is there a difference?
  9. If your talking to me, I prefer listening to classical (shut up) music maybe during homework and gaming. But I would also like bass for games during big explosions and especially in Subnautica
  10. I got lost at ramspeed, so should I just get something like a 3600 mhz kit?
  11. Cable management was pretty nice, and the aesthetics are very nice, however, quote me if i'm wrong, but i'm noticing some gpu sag.
  12. No, I'm just going to go into the BIOS and set the speeds to what its advertised. And its 2x8 gb
  13. So, i'm building a pc with the ryzen 5 3600, so is getting a 4000 mhz ram worth it? Because I thought it gets downgraded or something because the cpu can't utilize those speeds. So im now thinking of getting a 3600 mhz kit.
  14. No problem, but if you want a cheaper alternative, get the ryzen 3 1600 AF. Just don't get the ryzen 3 2600 because the 3 1600 AF preforms about the same (if you watch certain bit wits videos)
  15. I've heard that about the ram speeds too but wasn't too sure on it. And thx!
  16. I would definitely try that if it weren't for the fact that I record but with apps like discord, that sounds like a great idea and I do appreciate the suggestion. I could probably share this to my friend.
  17. I would've gotten a non-RGB 2x8 gb 4000 mhz ram but dang, cable management done right! Linus would be proud
  18. I'm going to be going over the peripherals since I didn't see anybody talk about it (sorry if i'm late) For your mouse, you should get the wireless corsair harpoon, the keyboard could be a Hyperx FPS pro, and a 30% large stitched edges victsing mouspad.
  19. Yea, I would recommend getting the ryzen 5 3600. That is quite a bottleneck. https://www.gpucheck.com/gpu/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1660-ti/amd-fx-8350-eight-core/
  20. I can't really put in more than a 100 USD for my headphones because of the fact that my budget for my entire setup, was 900 USD dollars but is now over 1000 for getting pc parts and peripherals.
  21. I prefer over ear for both gaming and music.
  22. I would go with boggy77's list, it seems very reasonable.
