My battery dies way too quickly while playing Ingress, so this is my solution.

I have no idea how much battery life it adds; guess we'll see!

You've been trying to get that for a while, haven't you? I seem to remember you talking about it a year or two ago hoping to get one. Glad you finally found one.

Oh yeah, it’s been a good week finding some long term searches lining up with a bit of disposable income. Got the PSU, got the S3 chrome, got the fully refurbed Walkman WM F41, good stuff

One of the only things I’m trying to track down now is an aopen ax4b-533

Update on my battery thingy.

It at least triples my battery life. I didn't drain it all the way on my ~1.5 hour Ingress ride around downtown. The extra battery had at least 25% battery and my phone was at 60%.

I'm keeping it strapped on my case.

Epoch by Sweeps arrived.
Beautiful looking tape, fantastic album, it was not recorded properly for bass heavy tracks.

Some of the tracks bass kicks just sound heavily distorted, you can’t just plug an aux cord into a recorder and record a cassette with bass heavy music, it has to be equalized to work well on cassette because bass has a lot of issues on cassette if not recorded properly

I live in Texas, and the storm that came through a few months back was an eye-opener for many people about disaster preparedness, and I decided I need to step my game up a little more.

I've got multiple types of camp stoves/fuels, extra blankets, canned food, water filtration, and first aid covered, but didn't have a generator. So since the rush on them has waned slightly, and stock has improved, I bought a 2200watt surge/1800 watt continuous invertor generator, a Westinghouse iGen2200. Plus it has the benefit of being portable, so outside of disasters I can take it with me if I'll want/need it.

Got these for the low low price of free. Friend's mom went to a yard sale and she got these for him, only they aren't back compat and he doesn't own a 360. Technically I do, buuuuuuut my laser is fucked so oops. Kind of a huge bummer because I would love to play Destiny on the 360. Also got Kinect Adventures from him but I didn't bother taking a picture of that.

(Proof I’m actually using it)

Memory Express in Canada has had a good supply of AMD cards for like 2 months now if not longer. Not always on their site but if you walk in you see them on the shelves. Thats why it always throws me off when I hear youtubers talk about how rare AMD cards are, when I bought mine about 6 weeks ago I have like 9-10 different ones to pick from

Me: Sells my Sony FE 35 1.8 lens cause I don't use it since getting my 16-35 2.8

Panny 20 1.7 for £65 ❤️, whilst I don't even own a MFT body, hold that thought...

image.png.428867552a031b6e9ba3572a10d78a67.png

MPB offered me a price similar to eBay for my 35 1.8 without any seller fees plus I was able to whip out my student discount (and another discount code I have...), and both the body and ultrazoom lens was wayyyyyyyy cheaper than eBay and that's without the discounts, mind you so with the discounts... 😅

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Bought a new Philips Fidelio B97 soundbar and oh my, it is GOOD!!!

spacer.png

It's a very long soundbar, taking up almost the entire length of my 65" TV. The two side speakers are detachable and can be used as surround speakers. Pretty cool idea, similar to its older Fidelio HTL9100 which I have hooked up to my 2nd rig.

They actually had like a good amount EVGA 3080Ti’s for sale when in store was in as well but I opted for what matched my system (all my major components are MSi or Corsair)
