Posted February 21, 2016 Try avoiding updating to Android 6.0 if you havnt yet, it has loads of battery wasting bugs. Yeah, I updated to 6.0 as soon as I got it... then noted the dreaded battery draining issue even when in deep sleep. I got around it by optimising the apps (all of them) so that stuff that didn't need a lot of CPU use got only 2 cores and limited it to 50% max too. I also use ES task manager to limit/stop stuff when I know I'm gonna be using it for deep sleep times. I can now take it off charge in the morning, use ES task manager and put it in battery saver mode, go to use it 5 hours later and it is still at 100% battery, or 98% at worst TBH I mostly use it in battery saver mode now anyway, as it doesn't seem to affect the performance of the tablet at all.. all I do is enable wifi and screen rotation and off I go, can still play the games I want to and browser etc, haven't found anything that's slowed yet.
