- 5 TDK Blu-Rays

 

The plan is to take The Queen's old i5-2500 and motherboard, change the Dark Rock Pro 3 for that new Shadow Rock Slim, put those in the R5 together with that 500W PSU and use the integrated graphics, essentially turning The Queen into a quiet and fairly low-power secondary PC for ripping and burning Blu-Rays, securely erasing drives, long torrent downloads, light browsing, iTunes etc. 

The new i7 and all that belongs with it will then go into the Storm Trooper, becoming an as yet unnamed new gaming/virtualization rig. 

 

how much did you pay for that hotswap bay? also no graphics card?

I was feeling a tad bored, so I'd joined a MD for the NuForce uDAC-3 in red, to match my red NZXT Phantom. Also bought nice 3.5 to 3.5 interconnect for my Fiio X3 II + JDS Labs C5 stack.....

My OCZ psu RIP'd over the weekend and decided to take my motherboard, ram and my beloved 4670k (4.7ghz@1.22v) with it (ಥ﹏ಥ). Luckily my 980ti still lives.

I did that a couple of years ago and learned I do not like Ginger ale. :P

 

Anyway, I am really liking the Spy Tec STI G1W-C I got recently, it records a good full HD image and even has an infra red led for in the dark which does a pretty good job.

I thought getting one is a good idea since I now have a 1 hour commute to work (so 2 hours / 180km a day) and see people pulling crazy stunts on the road at least once a week.
