i7 6700 non M??  Why gaming laptop m8? As usual you can build a PC a lot more powerful for that price and have a school laptop at the same time. Iam wondering ?

sorry its a i7 6700HQ  i thought i was missing something... don't know if that makes a difference or not... also it is the new skylake processor. also I needed to have the power of this computer in class and frankly didn't have the experience/patience or time to build my own desktop.

Basically with all of the testing that I have had to do with RMAs as of late I had to pick up a new PSU. My previous extra one only had a 8-pin CPU plug and didnt have PCI-E connectors. Both of those things are greatly needed when testing enthusiast boards like X58 and X79 which is what most of my issues of late have been with. I just grabbed this PSU from BestBuy since I needed it quick and it wasn't too expensive. The OEM is actually Channel Well which means its quite decent.

Yep. For me I want a mechanical keyboard (Can't decide between the K70 2016 Standard Cherry MX Browns or the G810 Orion Spectrum Romer-G RGB). I have a separate topic on that I recently started.

To be honest I haven't had much time to play around with it much. I've, done little more than pair my phone to it and plug in my iPod. Lol
