Which Tech brands do you trust most?

HDD: Western Digital and Hitachi.

I hear hitachi and WD drives have less of a failure rate than Seagate drives. and i personally use a combination of 1x WD drive and 2X Hitachi drives and both have been superb, so i have some trust built with those brnads

 

PSU: Seasonic and maybe XFX

 

No Corsair because of their lower quality CWT units/personal experience, and No EVGA cause i'm not as convinced of their other units  apart from the G2/P2/T2 series, Plus.

i heard their lower units that everyone seems to put in budget PC's are HEC Oem....and HEC doesn't fill me up with trust as a brand (i believe they manufacturer the Thermaltake TR2 units which it seems are not very fondly looked upon) , i'd rather just save the money and get a PSU that has been put to the test by trusted reviewers (jonnyguru for example) and gotten a good score, with good build quality or from a trusted OEM like Seasonic, however i have heard a bit of good about Delta being apparently a good PSU manufacturer, Delta Antec units in paticular?.

 

Apart from Seasonic and XFX, i'd maybe say my third most trusted PSU brand would be Antec, but i dont know enough/not solid enough to make my top trusted.

and again not to say that Seasonic XFX or antec haven't produced a pooper in their history possibly, just again they are my most trusted .

 

until you get to XFX customer support apparently

 

RAM: Corsair

i Use corsair RAM myself, and it's been awesome, and it seems Corsair is kind of the biggest name in RAM?.

 

Case: I find myself sort of taking a warm to corsair cases, but i cant say 100% for certain?, but if i had to pick a most trusted brand for cases....corsair for me.

 

Laptop: Lenovo,

 

Use lenovo's myself and i found them to be pretty bullet proof personally.

 

Graphics cards: Sapphire (AMD), EVGA (Nvidia)

I would say my top picks would be ASUS, EVGA, Corsair, and Intel.

Runner up would be Amazon. I think it's safe to call them a tech company, and they would have been easily among the top trusted had Prime Day not been so bad.

Gigabyte, I have a 8 y/o G31M-ES2C which is working like new, a friend has a s7 mobo which still works(amazingly, he had some problems with tech, fried his old PC's s462 mobo...)

Toshiba, A50-106 booting faster than my gaming PC, dead silent( well it's used only for work by my dad but still, works great)

Nokia, the lumia is a fail, yes but because of one fail you can't say the successes don't count.

SONY, I have a Z3 Compact, Games, games, games. Fuck Samsung and their touchwiz, ace 2 got all the reboots and overheating because of Android 4 and touchwiz(444mb ram is good isn't it? go at the ace 2's page in Samsung site)

Sapphire: 7770 GHz had no problems, 280X Toxic- well, lets not talk about it, all 280X have problems, mine is stable but that's after it got replaced.

Last- Lenovo, ThinkPad Edge 15- tough inside and ouside, crap hardware and fragile usb ports, but it works(barely).

Talking tech, my interactions with Fractal Design have been fantastic and I have purchased three of their cases both for my own rig and client builds and I intend to buy many more.

I got my iPod Touch 2. Gen when it released 2008; It actually still works without a problem (it's slow af but still). Also my iPhone 5 is a solid device and switching from a moto e, i really like the OS. I don't play any games so thats out of the way.

Going from what I've had, for Laptops ASUS, MSI, and Lenovo all have done my family well.

For phones I go towards Microsoft/Nokia.

For parts EVGA for my cousins build sent me a GTX 970 for the inconvience with having to RMA a 960 twice.

Cooling BeQuiet or NZXT

Cases NZXT

PowerSupplies EVGA G2 or GS or SeaSonic.

Ram, whatever is cheapest but mostly Kingston.

And I love iPads. I'd never buy any other Apple,product other then an iPad, my iPad 2 is going strong. I've thrown it up against a wall on accident ( slipped from my hands when I fell running ). It's fell,off tables from my,little sister ect and it works just fine.

I'm going to go with the fact that their drives are priced higher than average, thus not selling as well as others. That is what makes them having to slow their research down and let go of some people.

More like they are too butt hurt about Apple making the iPhone and well now after the windows phone flopped they gave up fired everyone on Nokia and fired also other campuses to keep making the same profits they had even though they really didn't loose any money... Also there a lot better ssds out there than the Intel ones, not many but a few, there are too many crappy ones on the other hand

Also the slow down is from the lack of competition from anyone, and amd will have a chance to maybe wake up Intel if zen is as good as they say it's supposed to be. But until then Intel is going to be slower and slower
