Although this is true, orbits are pretty predictable in nature and pretty much all low orbit sats have engines for collision avoidance as well as station keeping...

the speed of passive deorbit is more than quick enough. but looking at the orbital shells they are looking to be slightly elongated to reduce the risk of intersection

was looking at ebay prices and on LAR DB and a titan v looks to be best current bang for buck power wise and at about 800 not hard to get along with waterblocks being readily available

What PPD do they get, as they only have like 1/3 the CUDA Cores as a 4090

5.837m on windows its a low sample size (17) but has "lowest" KW per million points

I mean, that is pretty decent, but have you seen the undervolting/powerlimiting 4090s? 50% power and 80% performance?

I knew that was a common practice but not seen any concise data (but I think that is more ability to report/ my lack of interest in tinkering making me less interested in digging in and understanding the real world performances )
also cost my last knowledge was that the 4070 was almost 1600 and water blocks are another 200-300

good performance at 50&60%power 
looking at LAR reported ppd its interesting if this works for folding as well it does make it more interesting as an investment for folding, if i can pick one up

Well its that Time apparently started F@H on my G5-SE (Not listed was me secret weapon) UMMM it fried right after i started a WU its run 1 year no issues as my Survalence camera computer try and fold and boom!!! Time to call dell…Yes i cleaned it before trying to push it lol…

Well, this sucks. Folding Month starts just two weeks from today, and for some unknown reason two of my four systems are crashing at random. Combined these two machines hold five of the GPUs I'm currently folding with. This is not what I wanted to be dealing with so close to the event. If I can't stop these machines from crashing (nothing has changed with either of them, so I don't know what's causing the issues) I guess I'll be shuffling some GPUs around. I've got a couple spare Z68 boards that could hold some cards, and I can squeeze a couple into my X79 system as well.

Same with my issue Hence why im playing with the computers now…Dells Depot takes 1-2 weeks and would rather the depot touch it then the On-site techs…the G5 SE 5505 is the one computer i Regret Buying sadly

When in doubt for strange unexplained behavior, RAM or PSU.

One of the systems has basically no reason to go down, and the RAM and PSU are both relatively new. The other one might be developing some motherboard issues, but it's hard to troubleshoot at the moment since it's running three GPUs across two power supplies, and one of the GPUs is sitting on top of the case.

Yeah - my laptop's fan died literally the morning of the first day of the recent Folding sprint and I almost ended up not qualifying for it.

I'll be testing Foldatron later this week to know it's all good, let's hope it is
