I hear some people got invited to pre-order the 4090 over Geforce Experience, extra annoyed now given I don't use that because it constantly kept logging me out.  Logged in my 2080 and 3080 machines, no invite.

it's even weirder though, you are only eligable for that invite if you have a 10-series card or up, if you are still rocking a 980 for example Nvidia just says f-you basically.

I suspect they are trying to target people who upgrade more often thus are more likely to want a 4090 rather than scalp it.  I suppose this might go against me if I haven't logged in before with the 3080 as it will appear I only just got it.

 

Though I think I DID login with it when I first upgraded and likely the 2080 too, so will they invite me at some point now I'm logged back or I'm too late because they already fulfilled the trial allocation?

If only people used their brains and avoided buying from scalpers we wouldn't have this problem.

Asahi Linux using ARM64 native client:

 

Apple M1 4 threads: 110K PPD

Intel 12700F 8 threads: 131K PPD (Fedora)

Apple M1 Pro 8 threads: 286K PPD

 

Granted they're all different projects, but still.

I remember you were having difficulties validating the points of one user that shall not be named, you know its only going to get worse . 

 

I guess we need to come up with a solution if the issue gets worse.

 My script of still comes with zero warranty haha

 

But yea any issues are almost always easy to fix, sometimes I just don't want to put the effort in haha

Not the bonuses I'm talking about, I was just curious that it said I had 1M+ PPD and yet I only got 200K points, that's all.

The calculations consider the bonus’s assuming you entered the passcode 

like if you see here my base credit is 81101 but est credit is ~465000 (for a 3070)

PPD is an estimate based on how fast your hardware is completing tasks, you want to look at the WU points to find out how much you'll be getting for completing the WU.
