Total Scam….. Right?

OldFord76

So yes, obviously I’m not going to buy this. Just thought it was interesting. Website also had that “so-and-so just bought this” notification. A $130 3070? It’s a shame how many people will probably try this out

Those pop up notifications are fake. Meant to make people think that others are buying them and to pressure people in to buying quickly for fear of missing out, hopefully buying before people look too closely to see it's a scam.

Yeah, it's a scam. These types of sites have been making the rounds to take advantage of desperate PC gamers and enthusiasts.

The domain isn't even that old, being registered about 22 days ago according to the whois database.

I'm curious how you came across the scam website in the first place? Social media advertisement like a Facebook ad?

You're probably only getting the box, or a paper printout of the card. If you're lucky, it will be in color.

PSU Tier List   AMD Motherboard Tier List   SSD Tier List

If your issue is resolved, please share the fix with the community.

Yeah it's a scam, you'd be lucky to get anything at all, go with a legit retailer if you're looking for a GPU.
