I vote for both, think it will be great to see a combo of toys and games together in one chanel. Keep up your great work guys :)

@LinusTech I voted both, so long as it doesn't mean that it overtakes the amount of hardware videos you put out.

Getting in trouble with the police was awesome, Ball Pit is a awesome name but make a thumbnail of a dark dank dungeon full of plastic balls

I'm all for a new channel that presents a different side of the technological world, like games or toys, but I beg you not to cut down your current videos, because I personally find a computer case unboxing more interesting than watching you guys throwing water bombs at each other. If you guys make a gaming channel could it be like a game review channel rather than mainstream podcasts or commentaries?

Does this mean the wan show will be covering more toys and games as well as tech?

No you silly. He is talking about opening a new Youtube channel, much like techquickie.

You should start reviewing sex toys :P
But seriously a channel with both games and toys would be really cool

Both. The toy idea is stronger and doesn't really need to change at all. Already a proven formula with the good chunk of toy videos already on LTT like the AR Drone and the Tank things etc. So that's a given.

Games? Yeah, I'm less interested in that but I would be happy if it focused heavily on more "under the radar" indie titles. Basically less Titanfall and more Shovel Knight and I'm in.

Fools think they know everything, experts know they know nothing

The mixed one would be best. I feel that both of you should get to do what you want, but I would like to see more gaming than toys. Having gaming videos with some toys mixed in here and there would be refreshing  ^_^

I voted for a Toys & Games channel mix because I believe that a lot of members on here would like to see a bit of each as well as the both of you @LinusTech and @Slick. You'd just have to make sure that there's a good balance of toys and games because you don't want it to end up being primarily a toys or games channel since the majority on here voted for a toys and games channel.

BTW, I think you have your answer.  ;)

Yeah, I know that idiot, I was asking if the wan show would also cover some content from this new channel. If your going to be so condescending and struggle with such simple questions maybe you should find a different forum

I think.. just out of fairness for Linus & Slick we should vote for both, so each can do their own favorite videos which btw seems to be the case looking at the poll results. Can't wait for the new Channel  B)

L I N U S - I am pretty sure that the reason why the mixed option is so popular is the fact that we like the entertaining part of you (maybe even more than than the tech part). I am one of those. That's why I really like the Linus on the NCIX videos and why I (and many more) subbed.

A gaming channel would be great, especially if there were some benchmarks for common cards in there so people could see how it would run. I have no interest in a toys channel personally, but more videos is never a bad thing. :D

Linus and Luke's other stuff channel?

I'm guessing they want a more refined name to attract advertisers and new viewers.

Created an account just to put my 2 cents in, As has previously been stated video game review channels are overpopulated, you cant even throw bob's tank without hitting a game review channel. I'm sure you guys have a passion for video games, but it not something i personally would be interested in. maybe a retro gaming channel where you play old arcade, PC and console games and look at the technology of the time.

A channel for cool or geeky toys sounds sounds awesome, however the amount of "cool" content may run out fast.

Whatever you guys decide to do i'm sure you will enjoy it, so good luck with the new channel.

I like the idea of a combined channel, I have always liked geeky toy stuff and have been an avid gamer for years so I would like to see these rolled into one channel some how, because to be able to go over to one channel too see both of these things would be awesome I like this concept
