1USMUS has a RAM overclocking tool for Ryzen, and it has been on a stable release for a while. It is called DRAM calculator for Ryzen. find it here: https://www.techpowerup.com/download/ryzen-dram-calculator/

A lot of the yt comments where like "Say that again, I don't understand" but this is the sort of video that while I still didn't understand all of it, I did understand a very large portion of it. 

 

I am a HS student who wants to study computer engineering in college, and sooner or later I will figure out everything else in this video I didn't understand, bc that is just how I roll.

I am normally against any automatic overclocking software generally due to the way they behave (gross overestimates of voltage and unstable clock/voltage combinations) however this does look a bit more promising. It's basically similar to how we overclock modern GPU's using a clock/voltage curve but appears to be done on a per-CCX level. It's also the same principle applied to memory overclocking, specifically IMC voltages. That being, you want to maintain stability while using even less VCCIO/VCCSA while still getting a higher clock speed than what you'd see on auto values.

 

I'll definitely be comparing this to my manual overclocks to see how well it performs. If it makes my job easier, then more power to it.

Will this work for already oc'ed cpu's? I already use 1usmus power plan with the recommended bios settings.

4.3 GHz 1.3V doesn't mean shit if we don't know what Zen 2 CPU u are talking about. 4.3 GHz 1.3V is probably really bad for a XT model, but the base or x model that is pretty okay.

There's no such thing as "Free" performance. 

IE: More clocks Same voltage = hotter chip. period. 

 

On a technical note, since this is a "tech" forum.....

Transistors stop working when under-volted. (A very small percentage)

When enough transistors stop working, the Cpu comes to a halt state and shuts down.

Many of you may have experienced this. So what's the solution? More v-core.

 

Free overclocking? Free performance? 

I think not.
