However, I've been living life with my phone set to 110% silent / vibrate only mode for the last 3-5 years. It's so liberating knowing that I'll respond when I want to / am able instead of feeling high levels of anxiety knowing that my phone could ring or notify me of a message at any minute.

Is..is it that compressed?

Nope, I have the original uncompressed track. People are just too silly to learn how to properly encode videos without making them poopy.

phone is always on vibrate so it doesn't matter. I never change my ringtone since anyone that knows me knows to send a text instead of calling

I genuinely have no idea what my ringtone and my notification sound is, as I always have my phone on silent. I do, however, have a watch which often vibrates if there's a message, but before I got that watch, I'd only see my messages and such when I actually opened my phone. Notification sounds are just annoying, I'll decide myself when to look. :P And there's the issue that if I turn those sounds on, that WhatsApp makes a stupid sound when sending messages, which is quite frustrating. :P
