Not much folding going on here, but when i do it, it is on my Gaming PC which runs an i5-2500K @ Stock speed and a GTX 560ti @ Stock speed.

i have to retire my gtx 660ti  i keep getting GPU memtest failure it was a good run with that card time to move on. :(.

try underclocking it. maybe you still can use is for folding

i considered doing that but its not worth it i have not received a core 17 work unit on that card for a month my 7850 is killing it in ppd 37k vs 20k on the 660ti. i think im just going to get another 4p server next month and just game on that card.

Just cant get it to fold anymore i have installed new drivers restarted my pc uninstalled and reinstalled f@h my gtx 660ti just dose not want to fold. It still plays games and everything else but no folding.

i also tried your advice Mentalguy and underclocked it with no luck.

I have my grandma's A6-3650 folding on idle, and my rig has been folding non-stop for a few weeks now, and only gets about 800-900PPD now (it tanked for some reason recently).

Any suggestions on a Linux Distro as I can't stand trying to work around Elementary.

I have two rigs folding, mine and my wifes

 

My rig is 4790K  @ 4.7ghz with DDR3 2400mhz g. skill sniper with a 290x (DCUII OC'd 1050 core and 1600 memory) I am getting between 290K (lowest ive seen) to 305K (about normal) PPD.

 

My wifes rig is a 4670K at 4.7ghz with DDR3 1600 memory (Kingston Fury) with a 280X 1100mhz core and 1700mhz memory and its getting between 150K to 190K PPD.

my only rig right now is a lovly all amd setup.

 

cpu: phenom x6 1090t  4cores set to fold other 2 are for the gpus to use.

gpus: 2x (r9 290x) and a hd6670

avraging 400kppd

this rig stays on 24/7

 

more might come going to test out cpu folding in virtual machines on some older hardware. i doubt it will be worth it but we shall see.

Primarily I fold with a 4770k at 3.9GHz and a GTX 660.

 

I'm going to upgrade to a 680 soon, and I'm considering putting the 660 in a server machine I have and fold GPU-only 24/7.
