folding with two R9 290's, but not 24/7. it's -30C outside right now so the nice hot air coming from under my desk is beautiful. damn...+people+are+using+it+_31bb57a111c

An i5 4690k and GTX 970 over here.
No overclocking yet. Funnily enough, I'm getting an absurdly low PPD count; hopefully its just some bug.

Dual Xeon x5650's

HD 7950 @ 1.01GHz

24GB DDR3 @ 1333

Quiet as fuck

I could barely sleep with my old Proliant DL160G6 4 feet from where I slept

Nice, that's a pretty sweet system you got there.

I love how the motherboard just dwarfs the sapphire

7950 like nobodies business. What kinda performance

are you getting out of those cpus?

I just started folding and doing BOINC like friday-ish, it's pretty cool.  At first I was doing it for the badges, but I think I'll keep doing it when I'm not gaming.

i7 4790k @4.5ghz

2x Gigabyte G1 970

16gb 2133 DDR3 Dominator Platinums

Getting around ~530k PPD when I get good Core 17 WU, and like 260k if I get 2 Core 15 units on both the 970s.

I'm also installing my h220 today, CPU should be able to overclock a bit further for 24/7 use, and it should reduce my CPU temps by quite a bit because the hot air from my GPUs won't be getting sucked through the cooler.

I've been debating on adding in my cousin's somewhat messed up 7950 and folding with it, it has display issues where it black screens the display for a second then turns back on, I think it's stable because it never crashes the game or anything, only the display for a second.

I'm folding with my 3770K (OC: 4.5GHz) and R9 270 (OC:1100MHz)

I get about 22K PPD with my CPU and 80~100k PPD with my GPU.

Then I fold on the i5 3470 at work and get around 12k PPD.

Maybe i can organize some xeon cores from non-utilized servers at work. :-)

Just started folding last night.

Intel i7 4790k @ 4.5ghz ~ shows 12,610 PPD right now

EVGA GTX 980 ~ shows 334k PPD right now

EVGA GTX 980 ~ shows 316PPD right now

16GB DDR3

I have a old laptop with a i7 2720QM and a GTX 485M but temps were really really high even with a cooling pad on medium and low so I probably wont fold on it sadly.

On the laptop, don't run the client, use the Chrome Folding App, that one works really well on laptops and keeps temps manageable.

Well, I just got my sleeper all set up. Through the week at my grandma's it will fold but only on the CPU (it's an E7400). Debating on either buying an mATX H97 mobo for my Pentium (probably not) or just getting a Core 2 Quad (probably) after I buy a Xeon for my main rig.

Revive the thread!

The Workstation I'm getting 300K from (On good days)

I also have my laptop and a few computers at work running on it all the time!

QmyOYV5h.jpg

5820K, 980 (another will be added for SLI) and an ASUS X99 E WS. I purpose built this system for future expansion, and always on operation. :D

The back fan doesn't even spin at idle. This thing runs so cool and quiet, but when folding it sounds like a jet engine. (I purposely did that)

Oh and I'll probably add a full water-cooling loop, as well as some nice custom cables from @CableMod. Should go VERY Nicely with F@H.

two rigs

i7 4770K on ubuntu right now but in the machine there is my main windows ssd 28k PPD

G3258@4.3 -3k to 10k PPD and 780(it's just there cause I'm working on something else on the other machine, no I am not insane) gets about 170-200k PPD

I am a member of the PCMasterRace. I am terribly sad to announce that I own a PeasantStation 3 Super Slim. it's in a drawer away from my glorious PC.

Heya all. I've just started joining the F@H cause and I will be mainly using my gaming PC to do all of the ground work. This is the first time doing all of this and I have a pretty modest rig with a little bit of grunt. I am pretty new at this so can't really run off PPDs but my rig is estimating 14,755 on the GPU and 1677 on CPU when I click my GPU and

2619 on CPU and 1191 on GPU when I click the CPU.  Not really sure what they actually mean, but those are the numbers. If anyone can lend a few tips, please feel free to share. :)

Specs:

GPU: Powercolor AMD Radeon R9 270 /w 2GB GDDR 5 vRAM

CPU: AMD FX 6300 @ stock speed (3.5 Ghz with Turbo-Core active)

RAM: 2 x 4GB Patriot DDR3 @ 1333Mhz

well, I'm not contributing a lot (parents will be upset of the Energy bill if I do so), though every point is counting. when idling I let my rig fold, and also during office work.

it's a 3570K @ 4,3 ghz and 2 7970's at full steam (one 7970 Matrix Platinum and a XFX one)

at night I won't fold, the PC is in my bedroom and especially the XFX is pretty loud (it hits 78 degrees under folding load)

also my laptop is used for folding sometimes, it's a core i5-2520M
