I never have to talk to people when i go shopping.

I do curbside pickup every chance i get and i order my food supplies through a distributor most the time. I have to go to sams a few times a week for random things but im really strict on getting in and out with no socializing. Which is about the same as before all this lol.

Im not a window shopper. I hate shopping for the most part.

It’s true I don’t remember talking in grocery stores much.  Hardware tends to be a little different because one winds up needing specific parts and they move stuff around so memorizing locations of items doesn’t work.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Be nice if the morons that pushed these had the introspection to understand how much they screwed up, but good luck thinking that'll happen. Though, hopefully it'll stop the push for such initiatives until some sort of more biodegradable plastics come online. (There's an issue with plastic bags, but that also means there's a technological solution.)

If I only needed to send the camera footage of a swarm of termites bursting from one of our customer’s reusable bags. And that wasn’t the most horrifying incident either. So I can completely understand where banning reusable bags come from during these times.

Grocery Bags and banning clothes line drying were Public Health choices made back many decades ago for extremely well-founded reasons.  The lawsuits that are coming the ways of certain States are going to be fascinating over this, though I highly recommend just paying for the paper bags. It's annoying but much better in general.

I’d never heard of the banning clothes drying thing.  I did notice the sudden disappearance  of clothesline’s though. I’m curious about that one.

Around New Years, I had something that was more severe than what I’d had before, but with a somewhat odd symptom profile. There was heavy fatigue and muscle pains, and also some pain in the chest upon taking deep breaths. There was a lack of runny nose or anything of that nature. Ordinarily, I’d work through it, but the chest pains made me say “Screw This”. Symptoms resolved themselves in a couple days and I was back to work by Friday (January 3rd).

Am pretty sure it was the flu, but the thing that casts some suspicion is that my grandparents had returned from vacation in Italy during mid December, and came over for a party upon return. The timing seems rather early though.

I’m pretty sure an immediate family member of mine got it in the beginning of February. Doctors couldn’t figure out what he had. He told me he was the sickest he’d ever been for 2 weeks with chest pains. He said this even as a cancer survivor.

I’m worried for the sheriffs having to interact with them.

ENCINITAS, Calif. — Even though the beach is set to open on Monday, the rally cry for protesters in Encinitas is they want them open immediately. Some walked beyond the yellow caution tape before either being warned or arrested by deputies and escorted off the beach.

It’s finally happening here in my county. Requirement to wear masks in public on May 1st. Wonder how this will go down because I see some customers who just don’t care about our in-store mask policies.

I always wondered what would happen to people who were a mask that is highly political incorrect in a case like that. Like you can't ask them to take it off. And most people that would be upset to the point to rip it off would likely be just as scared by covid and not touch it.

Luckily I haven’t seen that here so far. I did see a Jason mask which was concerning because it covered his entire face. There was a few that also made me have a laugh when I needed it.

The original source comes from Japan who claim they have SOLID information that he died yesterday however other sources claim he's in hospital in a vegetative state. Apparently what happened is he went in for a heart stent a week ago but the surgeon was so nervous he got hand shakes and made a mistake in the fitting process. If that is true then Karma really is beautiful sometimes. It is known that China have sent medical teams to NK in the last few days but still refuse to comment on the reasons why.

If he is dead his Sister takes over so nothing really changes.

Last I heard, around noon central 4/25/20, it was "vegetative state following a stent operation, uncomfirmed."

@Master Disaster

There is some debate to be had there. North Korea is traditionally a patriarchal society. However, Un seems to have killed off all of the remaining royal patriarchs... :/

She does seem to be the one he's been grooming to take the position though.

Tangent time, it really bothers me when news outlets use "who" instead of "WHO", I was reading a news headline that said "We have to use who if we are to help others" and my brain couldn't work out what the hell they were talking about, after I read it a second time it finally clicked. Its an initialism of a name, capitalise it FFS.

My vague memory is the NK monarchy has a breeding program.  Kim was one of hundreds of children.  He would have had to do a lot of killing.  Not that such is beyond.

There were claims between vegetative state and brain dead, last I checked at least.

I only heard a small mention of it.

I actually thought it was covid related but seems like it was due to the surgery (if its true at al).

The key one for me is “permanent” seems he’s not getting up again.  There so much Borgia like action in that country.

The issue with cutting ones own hair  is evenness which becomes very difficult.  There are systems to control that but the issue is they leave very limited haircut options.  There used to be something called a flowbee.  It was one of those systems.  It had its own problems.  I’ve seen a lot of people resorting to buzz cuts.  Me I’ve had middle of the back long hair since the 80’s and haven’t gotten my hair cut professionally in many years.  The beard I do often, but that I can see.

Wearing a face mask or equivalence in public will become norm for practically every country on earth soon.
