Girl #1 : let’s call her claire

guy #1: lets call him chris (the snake)

girl #2: let’s call her becky

 

(none are real names, I changed them to protect identities)

Okay so backstory:

Spoiler

Chris likes claire. Claire knows this. 

 

Chris has dated Becky twice

becky tried to cheat on chris both times

  -first time she did

  - second time she tried to cheat on him (with me)

 

now chris likes Claire.

 Okay with that out of the way.

 

for the last 2 months, Chris has been trying to get nudes from Becky . This has all been With Chris trying to get with Claire.

 

recently I went on an account of chris’, (he gave me his password, and I had a bad feeling about something) and sure enough, he was talking about having sex with Becky. And I got curious and read the messages between Chris and Claire, and just a few hours later, he was sending hearts to her and saying he loves her

 

me and Claire are close friends. We have both been through hell and we are just really good friends. So me seeing this happen pissed me off. What should I do?

Nothing, it's not your problem to deal with.

 

Also when he gave you his password was it for a specific reason? and did you go outside of that reason to find these messages?

 

Edit: clearly if "Claire" knows he likes her, and hadn't decided to "get with" him, then you don't need to get involved, she can deal with it herself.

 

Unless Claire has asked you to help, then do not get involved.

No he gave it to me just to give it to me

 

and even if she can, she’s my friend and has been hurt too many times and I don’t want her to get hurt again

so you invaded his privacy by reason private messages? I highly doubt that if he gave you his password that he did it knowing that you would go through everything, especially if he believes you are his friend...which he does since he gave you his password apparently.

Honestly, don't do anything.

One very valuable lesson I got to learn the easy way in high school was to not get involved with other people's drama. It wasn't worth my time, my money or my effort, and it shouldn't be worth any of yours, either.
