Dark themes everywhere

I do use a plethora of applications on my desktop and mobile, particularly i do spend quite some time on forums and chat apps on my desktop. Of course as the name suggests, i use a dark theme everywhere on my desktop. My mobile is still spared as it is used in bright daylight, but once it gets dark it hurts my eyes to use a light theme in the dark.

 

Am I the only one addicted to dark themes or is this basically everyone else?

I use it everywhere, whenever possible. Even on my phone as much as possible. It's just easier on th eyes.

Dark theme boost contrasts, allowing you have an easier time to read  for extended period of time content, as you reduce screen brightness hitting your eyes. Dark theme is also beneficial on OLED powered phones to reduce OLED wear, and reduce battery power consumption on devices with such displays as less pixels are lit (color black), or lit at a low intensity (dark gray)

I use Light theme on everything. just used to it. It also blends in with the programs I use at work so less likely to have someone trying to read over my shoulder because it sticks out

Light themes hurt my perfect vision, and I also have my gaming monitor on 50% contrast and 40% brightness, it's too darn bright otherwise.

True that, but i don't think dark themes boost contrast
